Director of eCommerce - Hargrove Retail PLCFriday deployments used to be stressful. Now they are routine.
Looking back, what strikes me most is how little drama there was. Real technology projects have problems. This one had them too — but every problem was flagged before it became a crisis, every scope change was handled through a proper process, and every risk was managed rather than buried. Our project manager said it was the smoothest vendor engagement he had been involved in. Given how complex the technical requirements were, I think that reflects genuine delivery maturity.

Our connected vehicle platform was accumulating telemetry data from a growing EV fleet with no clean way to act on it. We needed both the infrastructure and the analytics layer.

Head of Technology - Ravi Digital AgencyMultiplayer held through the launch spike we had underestimated. No downtime.
Honestly, I came into this engagement with some scepticism. We had a bad experience with a vendor twelve months earlier and I wanted to see evidence of competence, not just hear about it. The discovery documentation was the first signal. The sprint delivery consistency was the second. By go-live I had stopped being sceptical and started planning how to expand the engagement. The production system has been stable from day one and our internal team loves working with the codebase they left us.

Our product roadmap was solid but our internal delivery capacity was stretched thin across maintenance. A trusted external partner for the net-new build was the only option that made timeline sense.

Director of Product - Munster Digital LtdThe kind of web build that makes you realise how bad the previous one really was
What I appreciated most was that they were honest when things were not going to plan. There was one point mid-project where a dependency was going to affect our timeline and they told us three weeks before it would have become critical. That gave us time to adjust. Vendors who manage upward proactively are rare. This one did it consistently throughout the engagement.

Engineering Manager - BlueMind Analytics Pvt LtdReal-time dashboards that finance and operations both agree on. That alone was worth it.

Digital service standards required citizen-facing systems that our inherited infrastructure simply could not meet. Remediation was not viable — the only credible path was replacement.

Chief Data Officer - Zenith FinServ LtdFirst CMS our content team has genuinely preferred over the alternatives they used before
I have been through several technology implementations in my career. The pattern I am used to is: detailed proposal, optimistic timeline, scope creep, overrun, excuses at the end. This engagement broke that pattern at every stage. The timeline was realistic from the start. Changes were managed through process. The final delivery matched what was agreed. Simple, but uncommon.

The business case had been approved but the internal resource to execute it had not materialised. External delivery was the pragmatic solution.
